Kit's Cooking: Hong Kong Style Curry Chicken

- 3 tbsp of curry paste
- 1/2 tbsp of curry powder
- 1 whole chicken leg
- 2 tbsp of shrimp paste
- 1 red pepper medium diced
- 1 green pepper medium diced
- 1 white potatoe large diced
- 1/2 medium size onion chopped
- 2 tbsp of cornstarch
- 200ml water
- 165ml of coconut milk

Va Bene (Grace's B-day Dinner)
Tonite I took Grace to an Italian restaurant located at Lan Kwai Fong for her Birthday.
Complimentary Italian Bread with Herb Dip and Brushetta Dip
We got the waiter to take picture of us when our dish arrived
I had the "Spaghetti Alle Vongole" = Spaghetti with fresh clams, garlic and extra virgin olive oil. By far the best Clam spaghetti I've ever had. The spaghetti is perfectly "Al Dente" and the flavoring in the sauce is just right
Grace had the Tagliatelle with Calamari and Mushrooms

Iron Chefs
Il Padrino
Walked by this Italian restaurant..looks pretty authentic so decide to take a look at the menu, after glance Im pretty positive that is traditional Italian restaurant...gotta try it sometime...Take a look at menu below and judge for urself...Afterwards compare the menu to Spaghetti House and Fat Angelo's and than u will realize that they are nothing more than "FCP" - Fool the Chinese People
Pearl Vietnamese Restaurant
Today at lunch I went to Pearl Vietnamese Restaurant...I've wanted to try for a while now..Place looks like its been there for a long time so I thought food must be good and at a reasonable price...I was a bit disappointed..
Pros: good soup base for Vermiclli
Cons: little bit pricy (includes tea charge), tea time dont start till 3pm (who's gonna starve themselves till 3pm to eat lunch), small portion, non comfortable area (have to eat at the 2nd floor of the restaurant, aka attic and the ceiling is about 2-3 inches above your head, so have to duck down when u walk
I had the Satay Vermicilli...Look pretty small for a meal costing HKD$27

Me and Hung Fung When We were Kids
@ Airport: Gung Gung and Por Por's Departure back to Toronto
We had lunch at "Macao Harbor" before Gung Gung and Por Por depart for Toronto. All of us had "Taiwanese Noodles" at a Macau restaurant haha
I had the "Hung Siu Ou Yok Meen", the Shanghainese restaurant at Bayview and Highway 7 in Richmond Hill still served the best I've ever had
Family Group Picture
Bye Bye Por Por and Gung Gung, have a safe flight...I'll come visit u guys later this year. Kau Foo Jai said Gung Gung didnt looked like he wanted to leave..I think in his mind Gung Gung was thinking "Why are you pushing us away already, WE ARE NOT READY TO DEPART YET, STOP THIS CAR!!!"
Afterwards, Kau Foo Jai, Sai Kau Mo and I went to Phase 2 of airport to browse around. (Looks more like a shopping centre than an airport)
Our first stop was a Ball machine store, and I got 2 piece of Dragon Ball figures that I least wanted..Check out the 2 garbage figures below
Note to myself: Never waste money on Ball machines again
An automatic liquour mixing machine
The authentic Initial D Tofu deliverying car, wheres Edison and Jay Chou??
Next stop we went to an air-plane museum..Pix of me getting side swiped by a plane
So this is wat first class must be like
Bar that only serves Heineken...wonder when they will close down
Afterwards, we went to Tung Chung Citigate Outlet mall. I finally bought myself a pair of New Balance (Model 554) at discount price of HKD$329 ...Original price was HKD$460, got a great deal (I THINK)
