3D Design I had to finish in 3 days with Google Sketchup

So Baldwin last weeked called me for freelance job to help him draw couples of cad canopy design for his new clients "Hong Kong International Terminals". And this is one of the perspective drawings. I hope is enough to land him the job.

Google Sketchup Pro 6.0

Havent updated my Blog for quite a while now, because I havent done much thats worth writing. Have been busy from work and reading and learning about CAD 3D, REVIT, and little bit on Photoshop CS3 and waiting for my 3DS Max class to begin on May 15th..but now I've learn a program call "Google Sketchup" have been introduced to Designers and Architects that Im find the need to learn also...It's bascially a VERY user friendly program to draw preliminary 3D outline of architecture..So last week I got Vicky to print out "Sketchup for dummies book" from pdf for me from her office, and I've been playing around with it ever since. It's only been a week, I think I got pretty well adapted to the software.
For the last 3 months that I've worked at Amatrix Architects, I think I've learned alot in design concepts and especially on design softwares. I surprised myself on how fast Im learning and my designer is starting to have me draw all the 3d drawings for him. The more I reading up on 3D books the more Im getting more interest, so Im constantly looking for more books and tutorial videos for more guidance. Right now I think I have enough resource to really build me up as 3D specialist, and Im really looking forward for my 3DS Max class in May!!

Kit's New Computer

Finally bought my suit up Intel Core 2 Duo PC to do my work stuff. Pretty satisfied that I didnt go with my previous decision of getting Dell XPS1530. My new desktop outperforms the Dell by so much and at half the price, plus my tower is crossover with Ferrari :)

Tonite Grace bought sushi from Park n Shop for dinner. Have to admit the sushi tonite taste pretty damn good.

Finally a new movie that I wanna watch in theatre. Never seen any Louis Koo movies that didnt make me laugh so I think Run Papa Run will be pretty enjoyable. Also, isnt this one of cutest posters u've ever seen

Fat Angelos

Today Boss took us out to lunch at Fat Angelos to welcome our new accounting co-worker Jessica. I can honestly say, Fat Angelos is one of the worst Italian Restaurants I've ever been to. We had Snack Platter (with Deep fried Calamari, Brushetta, Deep fried soft crab), Spaghetti Carbonara, Seafood Risotto, and Angel hair tomato pasta. Each dish I can only eat couple of bites cause the food had no taste and flavoring. I seriously dont know how they stay in business or even open so many franchises in HK. I never felt I can cook Italian food so much better than any restaurant except for Fat Angelos. Only dish that taste ok was the Tiamisu, just because I know they bought the cake from some bakery store. Furthermore, the food aint that cheap, for that price I can eat at an authentic Italian restaurant that would taste 1000 times better. Thats my thought
